Come and identify wildflowers with us, while also learning about our local pollinators! Once you’ve gather some wildflowers, we’ll press them into air dry clay to make little disks that can be coasters or ornaments to take home!

CoastWalk Kickoff
Kick off the 2026 Kachemak Bay CoastWalk by Joining us at Bishops Beach. Clean the beach, adopt a zone, grab some food, and play some games!
Pier 1 Tidepool and Cleanup
Between the fishing lagoon and the harbor the intertidal behind pier 1 is a great place to be on this -2 ft low tide. it is one of the few spots in the bay where sand dollars can be found with only a short walk. With all of the summer activity it can also hold a lot of debris. join us to check out this intertidal and then head a little higher and help clean the upper shore after a busy summer.

Glacier Spit Cleanup
Join us to clean up Glacier Spit. Sitting in front of Grewingk glacier, glacier spit is a popular destination for locals and visitors. it also catches debris in the current as it makes its way around the bay and is typically the largest cleanup by weight that takes place during CoastWalk.
Space on this cleanup is limited, and sign up is required
Transportation for this cleanup is donated by Mako’s Water Taxi!
