Spring Break Camp
Get ready for spring and get outside! In this special 3-day camp, students ages 6-10 can stay engaged and learn about what spring looks like for our local ecosystems. Look for birds, build fires and shelters, learn about spring snow science, and so much more!
If you have an older child who wants to attend, please contact Henry Reiske about participation as a Junior Leader.

Can I register for just one day of Spring Break Camp?
Spring Break Camp is a three-day long afternoon drop-off program. When registering, you are registering for all three days. Individual days cannot be purchased.
Will campers be outside if it’s raining?
Yes! Even in the rain, campers are able to explore and experience the incredible ecosystem of the Wynn Nature Center. Please make sure your child comes to camp with appropriate rain gear. As the old saying goes: there's no such thing as bad weather, just ill-suited clothing!
Do I need to pack my child a lunch?
Our staff provides a snack each day, but campers should bring their own additional snacks. If your camper has any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let our staff know during registration.
How quickly does this camp fill?
Spring Break Camp is popular with local Homer families, and can often fill quickly. To be notified when registration is open, please sign up for our email list. If you are not able to secure a spot, please contact us to inquire about our waitlist.
One of my friends cancelled their booking. Can my child take their spot?
In the event of any cancellation, we will first call our waitlisted campers to offer them the open spot. If those campers refuse the offered spot, only then will we consider an ad hominem request to fill the spot.
How does Coastal Studies manage campers' behavior?
Our staff are dedicated and trained to help all participants have successful and educational experiences. Please review our Behavioral Policy to learn more about how we support our students and create a positive learning environment.
