Family Nature Camp

Fun and adventure for the whole family! Family Camp is the perfect opportunity for families to get outside and create unforgettable memories together at the Peterson Bay Field Station. Stay in our yurts, enjoy toasty desserts around a campfire, and explore some of the rich and diverse ecosystems of Kachemak Bay. With activities like tidepooling, hiking, crafting, and more, there’s something that everyone in your family will enjoy!

Price

Adult (age 13+): $300

Child (age 12 and below): $200

Costs include transportation, meals, and the program itself. Kayaking may also be available depending on staffing, weather, and group interest. We have all sorts of outdoor gear for you to borrow!

Some travel funding for families from Kachemak Bay/Lower Cook Inlet, Prince William Sound, the Kodiak Archipelago, and Alaska Peninsula is available. Please contact Katie Gavenus or 907-235-1974 for more information.
