Donate your Life Insurance
Life insurance is about making sure your loved ones are taken care of if something happens to you. The payout your beneficiaries receive can help them manage everyday expenses, pay off debts, or even cover future costs like college tuition.
But life insurance isn’t just for your family. It’s also a way to leave a lasting legacy for the organizations and causes you care about. You can even name a charity as the beneficiary of your policy if that’s something meaningful to you.
-
Just like you can name people as beneficiaries of a life insurance policy, you can also name a charity or non-profit organization. You can even split the death benefit between your loved ones and a charity—deciding exactly what percentage each will receive. It’s completely up to you.
-
Naming a charity as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy allows you to stay in control. Because you still own the policy you have access to any cash value accumulation while you’re living and have the option to change the beneficiary if you want.
-
If you have an existing policy, it’s easy to change the beneficiary to a charity. You’ll likely need to provide the Tax ID number of the organization. Please let us know if you choose us as a beneficiary so we will know to contact the insurance company to collect a payout in the future.
Our federal tax ID number is: 92-0086250
