The Project
University of Michican (UM) will utilizte the Resist-Accept-Direct framework at the Wynn Nature Center and Inspiration Ridge Preserve to recommend adaptive management strategies which address changes in native plant phenology due to climate change. By setting up test plots for each RAD strategy, we aim to determine the most effective approaches for conservation in Homer, Alaska.
The Team
Jasper and Brad are a part of the UM graduate student project team working in coordination with the Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies on a research project. The UM School for Environment and Sustainability will be working with CACS over the summer and throughout the following year.
