Wynn Nature Center Hikes
Guided and Self-Guided Tours at the Wynn Nature Center Hikes
The Wynn Nature Center is open daily from mid-June to Labor Day. There are two ways to enjoy the beauty of the trails .
Join an experienced naturalist on a guided hike to view wildflowers and learn about the transitional boreal forest and traditional uses of plants found at the Wynn Nature Center. Guided hikes are daily at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Check in at the Daisy Lee Bitter Cabin. Hikes are from 1 1/5 to 2 hours long.
If you would rather explore the trails of the Wynn Nature Center by yourself, then the self-guided hike is a good option. Check in at the Daisy Lee Bitter Cabin to pick up a trail map and get orientated to the area by one of our naturalists - then head out on the trails and enjoy the flora and fauna at your own pace! The cabin is staffed from 10:00am to 6:00pm daily from June 10 - Labor Day and the trails are open for exploration during this time.
There is a User Fee of $8/ person, $7/seniors (60+), $5 for youth under 18, $25 family rate. This fee is charged to support CACS educational programs. Group rates (over 10 in a group) are available, but please make prior arrangements for group visits.
